And to me it feels like the media wants to spice things up a bit given that it's end of August and nothing is going on. What little there is (going on) is the same old, same old...boring candidates on both sides. So I wouldn't lose heart. I think this is just another "No, I'm not running" statement which doesn't mean that. After all, the guy has a city to run. He doesn't want to become a lame duck mayor.
