And if I may add, coverage by the media (with the exception perhaps of CNN) was pathetic. For over a year, with the exception of CNN, no one bothered to cover the story. But oh boy did they ever jump all over the Duke lacrosse case. And did they ever jump all over the Maddy McCann case while at the same time ignoring a similar situation (parents leave kids alone while going out on the town) that resulted in the deaths of several black kids in a fire in Pittsburgh at about the same time. Too often I get the sense that if it involves whites as victims then it's news; if the victim is black, too bad. Our national media needs to take a good hard look at their fat white arses. I agree.
